CELEBRATING ALL THINGS EQUESTRIAN:
POWER OF THE PONY FESTIVAL 2018
in aid of Riding for the Disabled Association
Imperial Wealth Planning Trophy 2018
With Imperial Wealth Planning on board from Switzerland and the best low-goal polo in England in our penultimate fixture of the season, we are throwing a party to celebrate Silver Leys' biggest year so far (and there might be some birthdays to celebrate too)!
Look out for a PoloCrosse demonstration on Saturday lunchtime and then give it a go yourself! Head over and join in - try something new with quick taster sessions running all afternoon.
Saturday 1st September
Start the party off with a boozey lunch in front of the polo - tuck into a homemade buffet lunch with 2 delicious courses in our pitch-side marquee with the best entertainment in the world in front of your table.
Join us from 7pm for games, live music and a traditional Argentine asado at the clubhouse. Think rounders at the end of play, beer pong to get the party going and who knows, maybe the twister from last year's end of season bash will make an appearance too! Dance the night away with our live band, the Muggabees, and get stuck into the cocktails on offer from the bar. Tickets including music, food and assorted nonsense: £20 (available online or on the door... well, gate).
Relax on Sunday in front of the tournament finals - expect some of the best low goal polo in the country and grab yourself a VIP pitch-side buffet in the marquee for just £20 pp.
POWER OF THE PONY
Sunday 2nd September
Join us on Sunday as we celebrate the incredible animals at the heart of polo. We are delighted to welcome a selection of charities who all use the power of ponies for good - from rehabilitation for the disabled to empowering children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Check out demonstrations and exhibitions from other incredible examples of horsemanship - from horse whispering to mounted games, there will be plenty of equestrian entertainment on show!
- Pony Club Mounted Games
- Dressage Exhibition
- Parade of Hounds
We are delighted to be supporting the RDA by donating the profits from Sunday to their cause. Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) enriches the lives of people with disabilities through horse riding and carriage driving. Through a network of around 500 volunteer groups throughout the UK, RDA provides opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment, improving health, wellbeing and self-confidence, and benefiting mobility and co-ordination.
RDA is reliant on voluntary help, donations and legacies to deliver its services. Please donate now at www.rda.org.uk.
