‘…the game of Kings..’

Patronised by Kings and played by warriors to test their courage, endurance and power, Polo has been played since the 6th century. Often used as a training means for the kings’s guard, it is known as the ultimate test of athleticism.

At Hertfordshire Polo Academy we like to think we embody both athleticism and sportsmanship by encouraging fun and enjoyment during lessons and practice games alike.

Our Junior Academy for youngsters aged 6-16 encourages teamwork and good sportsmanship with members attending lessons weekly and playing instructional chukkas as often as time allows. We host pony club days throughout the year too, ensuring our riding stars are prepared for every aspect of Polo.

We are also exceptionally proud of our more mature bunch, the athletes amongst us that have taken to Polo in later years.. apparently you can teach an old dog a new trick!
